Planting a Desert Landscape
In this 2 hour workshop we will explore the relationship between plants and the vessels they inhabit. We will create a little desert landscape with unique cacti, succulents and hand made ceramic containers by Bryan Santamaría @tactful.ensemble
Step by step, from the use of chicken wire, to a pumice / soil mixing ratio, then planting our cactus and finally introducing rocks and top soil as to play with our imaginations and create a little desert habitat.
When: Saturday April 26, 3:00pm-5:00pm
Where: Zinqué, 1440 Lincoln Blvd, Venice, CA 90291
Included in Ticket: Each participant will receive one small ceramic vessel handmade by Bryan, one small cactus or succulent, and all materials needed to stage including chicken wire, pumice, cactus mix, top soil, and choice of rocks. Participants are welcome to bring their own small plant and/or vessel if they want to explore further. Larger vessels will be available for purchase.
